How to Transfer your Maxicare Reimbursement to Your Bank?

Once your reimbursement request with Maxicare is approved, they will process the refund using your member ID card. You will receive a SMS for the PIN and approved reimbursement amount.  I have received a text from them but only for the total amount reimbursed, no PIN included. I contacted them about it, but they took a while before they got back to me.

I also check my online account to request a new PIN but I didn't receive any message. Anyway, good thing the person i talked to when I contacted them gave me an instruction on how to withdraw my money using their app. 

Follow these instructions:

1. Download MaxiHealth+ to your phone. Enroll and register, or if you already have an existing log-in details with Maxicare online, use those. With this app, you can view and transfer the current balance to your preferred banks.

2. If you have dependents, all cards will show in your account. Just choose the one that you have applied reimbursement for.

4. It will show the total balance or the total reimbursement processed under this account. To transfer the processed reimbursements, you need to top-up your account first. Click on the back arrow at the top-left corner, twice.

 

4. You will be directed to the main page where you can see the current balance in your account and the "Top-up" button. Click on the "Top-Up" link.

5.   In order to transfer the money, you need to top-up first. Indicate the amount to be transferred. Make sure that it will not exceed the total balance you have in the account, otherwise, it will not go through. Confirm the said amount by clicking "Confirm".

6. A verification code will be sent to the registered cellphone number to verify the transaction. You will now see the total amount on the Current Balance.

7. To transfer the money, go back to the homepage and click on "Transfer".

8. Indicate the amount to be transferred. Choose the preferred bank and indicate the account details, then click "Process". Another verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Once the transfer is completed, a confirmation will be shown.

Now, you can easily withdraw the money using your ATM card.
