For Fast Approval of your Reimbursement Request with Maxicare, SUBMIT IT ONLINE!

If your company is under Maxicare, and with the new policy they have given, you probably paid for your medicines, lab tests or doctor's fee to avoid waiting on approval.

If you did, you can actually request a reimbursement from them, including the prescribed medicines. Just make sure that you keep all the original copies of the prescription, receipts, request, etc, so you can have your reimbursement without hassle.

To request a reimbursement, follow these steps:

1. Make sure to keep all the original receipts such as:

• Doctor's prescription
• Laboratory or Services Requests
• Doctor's Fee Invoice (Ask your Doctor for the invoice, they should one)
• Original Receipts and Invoices of the tests and medicines.

Important Tip: Buy all your medicines and do all your laboratory tests before submitting a reimbursements.

2. Once you have all these documents, go to their website or click here to log-in to your account. If you have not opened an account yet, just click on "Create New Account" and follow the instruction. Make sure that you have your membership card with you.

Reminder: Make sure that you have a mobile number that was not used before, otherwise, you will not be able to use it when you set-up an account.

3. Once logged-in, click on "Reimbursements" and start filling out all the necessary information and upload all the pertaining documents, then click "Submit".

4. If you want to print or check the status of your request, click on "Search" button at the top-left corner of the page and click "Transaction".

5. Click on Reimbursement.

and then input the date you submitted the requests, then click "Search"

6. You will see all your request with the status. You can also download your request if you want to print it.

Once your request is approved you will receive a text message like this:

Do not expect to receive an email from them because they never do.

I am not sure if it's because I did all my test in High Precision Diagnostics, that my reimbursements were processed fast without submitting the original documents. But if you can do all your tests with this clinic, please do because they are very cheap.

 

If you do not want to pay for the tests, ask the branch if they accept Maxicare, the one in SM Aura does, but of course, you will have to wait for the approval before you can have your tests.

 

So what I did, I paid for them first and then request the reimbursement.
