Sariaya Ancient Colonial Houses

Governor Natalio Enriquez Ancestral House
If you are not going to visit the beaches and caves in Quezon Province, there's not much to see, specially in the town proper. However, like many provinces in the Philippines, it's also rich in histories and historical sites including old house so try to walk around.

Complete List of Resorts & Hotels in Panglao Island, Bohol

Last Updated: January 30, 2017
Pangalao is an Island in Bohol Province that is very popular for its white sand; not as fine as Boracay's but it's close. With all the  beaches in the island, the most popular one is the Alona beach because it's the center of all hotels and businesses. It's like the Station 3 of Boracay Island, where a lot of parties happen.

Cebu City Piers & Schedule of Trips

I've been to Cebu twice already and I can still say that the passengers' terminal in Pier 1 is still the most organized terminals I've been to. The staff are efficient and terminal itself is very clean. It was actually renovated and improved from the first time I've visited in 2014. I can't say about the other terminals, but I'm sure it's close if not the same.

List of Festivals in Leyte

The Philippines is an island of a hundred festivals. We live tropical life to the core, the hot sun and the warm seas makes us very gay and fun loving. We live for each day and celebrate life to the fullest. Like every Filipino, Leyteños love to party and our festivals are a unique blend of religion, animism, paganism and merry. Our celebrations are punctuated by food galore and "tuba" a coconut wine. Naturally no festival is complete without dancing, hours and hours of dancing and singing!

How to Get to Sariaya, Quezon Province?

FROM MANILA:
There are lots of bus companies that operate from Manila to Lucena.  It just depends on where in Lucena you are going. There are buses that go as far as Dalahican Port via Lucena Grand Central Terminal and others go directly to Lucena City only.

Take a taxi, jeepney or bus going to the designated bus terminals for Jac Liner, Jam Liner or Lucena Lines. I always ride Jac Liner bus because they are new, the seats are comfortable and I feel safe with them.  Not to mention there’s a free wi-fi on board. Regular fare from Buendia to Lucena is Php209.50.

Visit their website for more details, www.jacliner.com.

At the bus terminal, look for the bus with a signboard Lucena “Lucena City/Grand Central” or “Lucena/Dalahican”.  Tell the conductor where you want to be dropped off and then prepare yourself for a 3 to 4 hours travel. The road in Quezon was under construction when I visited so the usual 3 hours trip took 4 hours instead.

Just ask the conductor to drop you off in front or near the Sariaya church. Please note that Sariaya is one of the busiest towns in Quezon Province so expect the worst traffic. From the church you can hail a tricycle to take you to your destination. Or better yet, walk from there to your destination to see the old houses and enjoy the scenery.
