Fast ferry is the most convenient and fastest way to get to Bohol from Cebu or the other way around.  It only takes an hour or two, depending on which port you want use. There are two ports in Bohol: Tagbilaran & Tubigon, and in Cebu there are four piers, assigned to specific shipping lines. Sailing via Tubigon port is much cheaper and faster than Tagbilaran.
