When in Tacloban, don’t judge a restaurant by its facade. Tucked along J. Romualdez Street is Sunzibar, a low-key local favorite that instantly won my heart (and taste buds). On the outside, it may look like your everyday eatery, but step inside and you’re in for a flavorful surprise.

It’s one of the reasons I want to go back to Tacloban. Yes, it’s that good.

This Mexican restaurant looks just your normal restaurant but don't be deceived. This is one of the reasons I want to go back to Tacloban. Loved by locals and tourists, with its sumptuous yet inexpensive menu. A really must try is their Nachos Salad and Rum Ribs.  I love...love...love the Nachos Salad!  If only I can order a take home without spoiling the Nachos, I would.

But of course the best you must try is their so tender Rum Ribs.  Well actually I love all of the food we ordered in this restaurant. Visit to Tacloban is not complete without eating here. This does not look like a fine dining restaurant, but believe me, their food, really is the best!
