Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Puerto Princesa

Located just in front of the Plaza Cuartel, and Rizal Park on the other side is the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral of Puerto Princesa.  What amazes me when I first see this church are the gothic structure and the color. The blue & white color are almost like a reflection of the clouds and the sky.

A small church was first built here in 1872.  The cathedral as it stands now was reconstructed in 1961.

This cathedral has been the central refugees during the war, when God is the only one people can turn to. I wasn’t able to see the inside because I was busy admiring the Gothic architecture that our tour is almost over.  That’s the disadvantage of being in a tour; you can’t stay a little longer to check the place.
I saw some locals who silently pray for their petitions inside the church.  This is the only church I've seen with the Medieval Europe structures.
